The Chiefs have dealt with injuries to their offensive line all year and now that their in the Super Bow the problem may be at its worse. They first lost RG Laurent Duvernay-Tardif who opted out and has not played this season. At the beginning of the season, the Chiefs lost LG Kelechi Osemele to a bilateral knee tendon tear and has missed the majority of the season. Premier RT Mitchell Schwartz has been dealing back issues for the second half of the season and has been on injured reserve and although yet to be ruled out for Super Bowl, it is highly unlikely he will return for the big game. In the AFC Conference Championship, Pro Bowl LT Eric Fisher tore his achilles and will miss the Super Bowl. This is a huge loss and forces the Chiefs to reassemble their offensive line in a big way. The starting RT will move to LT, the RG was moved to RT and swing tackle Stefan Wisniewski will now start at RG. The Fisher injury has forced the the Chiefs to make three changes to an already depleted and this could spell bad news as the Buccaneers sport solid edge rushers in Jason Pierre-Paul and Shaq Barrett. Both should cause trouble for the Chiefs and they must have a game-plan to stop them or their own game-plan will be in shambles.
