On consecutive plays, Kansas City lost two right tackles. Mitchell Schwartz has his left know rolled up on when Patrick Mahomes was sacked. Schwartz suffered a valgus force and apparent MCL sprain, he is questionable. On the very next play, his back up suffered a right knee injury. Martinas Rankin had his leg give out on him and he was pushed back, the worry is a patella tendon tear, which would end his season. He has bene ruled out for the game already. This leaves KC with only five active offensive lineman. First Tyreek Hill was shaken up, then Schwartz was rolled up on and Rankins knee was injured. A bad three play streak for KC. Ian Rapport has confirmed a season ending injury for Rankin with sources pointing to a patella injury.
