Taylor Swift is reportedly set to attend the Thursday Night Football matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos, as per TMZ. The 12-time Grammy winner has attended three out of the last four Chiefs games. Notably, for this occasion, she plans to be in attendance, while Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is listed as questionable for the game.
Kelce is listed as questionable to play against Denver after suffering a minor right ankle inversion sprain when he planted to turn upfield last week. He did not return to the game after the injury. Contrary to media speculation, this is not a high ankle sprain but rather an issue with the same leg that kept him out in Week 1 due to a bone bruise. We anticipate Kelce will play, given his limited participation in practice this week.
Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton is listed as questionable for this week's game after sustaining an ankle injury in Week 2. This injury sidelined him for both Week 3 and Week 4. However, he has participated in practice throughout the week and is expected to be ready to play on Thursday night.
Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams had been contending with a quad strain over the past week. However, after completing two consecutive practices, he is no longer listed on the team's injury report. It's worth noting that he has not fully recovered from a multi-ligament left knee injury sustained last season but remains determined to persevere despite this lingering issue.
Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich sustained a hamstring injury in Week 1, leading to his placement on injured reserve. While he becomes eligible to return starting this week, it is unlikely that he will be at full health even if he does make an appearance.
Denver Broncos nose tackle D.J. Jones has not participated in practice throughout the week, and he is expected to be sidelined due to a knee injury. This absence is likely to pose challenges for the Broncos' run defense, potentially contributing to their ongoing struggles in this aspect of the game.
