The news for Harris and the Chargers continues to get worse. They have lost Pro Bowl safety Derwin James for the season, now secondary mate cornerback Chris Harris Jr. will be gone for an extended period of time. It turns out he had a broken foot which is worse news than the original expected high ankle sprain. Harris was placed on injured reserve and this will be an extended absence. This will represent a normal IR stint as he should be out atleast eight weeks but given the position that he plays this indeed could be season ending.
