The Jets' tight end is finally making his debut. He served a four game suspension and then developed a hamstring injury in his return to practice. It does not sound like he will play a lot today, but he at least is active. With 26 players on the injury report this Friday, the Jets have many players questionable and many declared out. This activation may just be that there are seven other players more injured than Herndon. Keep in mind, soft tissue injuries are very common when first returning to game-action.
