Chris Herndon is unlikely to play on Sunday. The Jets tight end has yet to see the field this year, originally serving a suspension and then developing a hamstring strain. Soft tissue injuries are common when returning to football. This injury has lingered and he seems unlikely to play this week. Perhaps week 10 or 11 return is coming.
