Christian McCaffrey returns to practice today, but it is unlikely that he will make it back into the lineup for Thursday's game against the Falcons. There is little chance he could practice in full for 2 days after 5 weeks on IR and play. The Panthers have not rushed their star weapon and we doubt they will start now. A week 9 return is probable as we have been saying, and while he will likely be elevated to the active roster soon, don't look for him to start this week.
