Panthers star running back Christian McCaffrey missed practice Friday and has been ruled out for the team's Week 6 matchup with the Vikings. The 25-year-old apparently suffered a setback in his recovery this week. He was limited in practice Wednesday, then missed two straight practices. McCaffrey was vying to return this week from a hamstring strain he suffered Week 3. Now, he is in danger of missing multiple weeks because of the setback.
Chuba Hubbard will get his third straight start and has 220 rushing yards and 78 receiving yards in five games this year.
