NFL

The Panthers star running back and MVP candidate did not finish the game Sunday but was not truly injured. He seemed to be suffering from cramps and could not continue. He likely received IV fluids for hydration. There was no video and no report of any injury. By Week 5, most players are not cramping anymore because of acclimation to the game of football but who can blame McCaffrey based on his utilization in the Panthers offense. Some players are prone to cramping based off their metabolism and are not at fault. The key is that there is no long term effect from this issue but the Panthers must be weary of how many snaps their are giving McCaffrey. The good news is that this is a non injury situation.
