C.J. Henderson Undergoes Hip Surgery, May Not Be 100% To Start 2021 Season

The Jacksonville Jaguars number one draft pick last year (9th overall) had a good start to his rookie campaign before being placed on injured reserve in November for a groin issue. It turns out the groin issue was more of a hip labrum issue and the Jaguars revealed that he had hip labrum surgery. The good news is that this might make him a better football player as he likely regained some hip mobility. The bad news is the recovery is sometimes lengthy ranging between six to nine months. This will result in a slower start to the 2021 season for Henderson but his long term outlook is bright.
