Clint Capela to Miss Time with Adductor Strain

Clint Capela - SIC score 42

Diagnosed with a left adductor strain following an MRI on Sunday and will be re-evaluated in 7-to-10 days, meaning he will miss at least 3 or 4 games.

The French center experienced discomfort late in Saturday's game against the Warriors and will now rest through the All-Star break.

In 47 games this season, Capela has averaged 11.5 points and 10.6 rebounds. He's shooting 57.5% from the floor and 64.9% from the free throw line.

His absence likely means more minutes for fourth-year center Onyeka Okongwu.

The Atlanta Hawks (22-27) face the Clippers (33-15) on Monday afternoon.
