The stud running back suffered an ankle injury in the Chiefs second preseason game. Reports are it is not a high ankle sprain meaning it is the typical low inversion basketball sprain. There is no clear video of the incident but we concur and trust the report of a low ankle sprain. The LSU product was not seen in a walking boot after the game, which would have been a normal precaution for even the mildest of high ankle sprains. This should keep him out of practice for a time but should not be an issue moving forward. Expect Edwards-Helaire to suit up and play effectively Week 1.
