Clyde Edwards-Helaire Suffers Chest/Shoulder Injury, Ruled Out For Game

Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire left the game with a chest/shoulder injury in the third quarter and is questionable to return.

By video, Edwards-Helaire landed hard on a tackle from Steelers defender Isaiahh Loudermilk, then exited the game and went to the locker room.

We believe he likely suffered an AC joint injury.

He was announced with a collarbone injury and will likely undergo an X-ray to check on a fracture of the collarbone, but we believe the AC joint is the bigger concern.

Darrel Williams will get more carries in his absence.

Update

Edwards-Helaire was ruled out for the game. We hope he is not dealing with a fractured collarbone, as that would be a much longer recovery than the AC joint sprain.
