Cole Beasley Played Through Broken Fibula At End Of Season

The Buffalo Bills are out of the playoffs after losing to Kansas City in the AFC Championship, but it has now been revealed that slot receiver Cole Beasley suffered a fibula fracture in Week 16 and played all the way through their playoff run. He was listed on multiple injury reports with a knee, and the likely nature of this injury is an incomplete fracture of the fibular head. No one can question Beasley's toughness and ability to play through, but thankfully it is not a structural injury. He does not necessarily need surgery, and this is what allowed him to play so effectively in recent weeks, and he would have been near 100% recovered by the Super Bowl had the Bills advanced. Kudos to Beasley for his grit, but this is a different situation than say coming back after ankle surgery with his fracture dislocation.
