The Battlehawks tight end was injured on a blocking play with extracurricular activity off the playing field which was flagged. He appeared to be significantly injured but video was limited as he was engaged with a defender as he went down near the bench. Medical staff rushed to his side and an aircast was placed on his left leg likely indicating a fracture. He was carted off and his season is likely over with surgery. The XFL has granted extended access to the media but here was an example of good restraint. There was no hot mic or interviews of the player obviously in agony.
