Indianapolis Colts versatile Offensive Lineman Will Fries has been ruled out after suffering a right lower leg tibia/fibula fracture.
Fries was carted off with an aircast, will require surgery and rods placed in leg and it will be the end of his season.
We are not expecting this to be an open injury or have an ‘Alex Smith type infection’ risk, good chance of recovery for the start of next season.
In Week 6 the Colts take on the Titans in an important divisional game in Tennessee where they will hope to see QB Anthony Richardson and RB Jonathan Taylor return.
Stay tuned for more updates from Pro Football Doc on Will Fries.
