Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor by video suffered a right high ankle injury in the 4th quarter of the game against the Steelers and left the game.
After a run where his feet got tangled, Taylor limped off the field and had his ankle rewrapped by the trainers.
It is the same ankle where he's had extensive history including being placed on IR late in 2022 and surgery in early 2023.
Given his injury history with this right ankle, IR could be in consideration for him in the short term.
Prior to the injury, Taylor had 21 carries for 88 yards and a TD and caught three of four targets for 20 yards. Trey Sermon replaced him, managing 5 yards on 3 carries after Taylor left the field.
Stay tuned for more updates from Pro Football Doc on Jonathan Taylor.
