The Dallas Cowboys suffered a loss on Thanksgiving in more ways than one. Left guard Connor Williams was playing after a quick turnaround from left knee arthroscopic surgery and tore his ACL in his right knee Thursday. There is no direct relationship, but one could theorize a potential indirect relationship contributed to the right knee injury. He was hit on the right knee blind side, but perhaps he wouldn't have been in that position if he was 100%. Williams was hurt late in the second and heroically returned to start the second half, but never looked well. The first play from scrimmage he was blown off the line of scrimmage by three yards and put no power on his right leg. On the third play, he appeared to subluxed his right knee. Best wishes to Williams and his pending surgery, this is another example of how tough players are.
