Aaron Jones' prospects to start this Thursday are iffy at best after he missed the past two games with a calf surgery. This is significant situation to monitor, as AJ Dillon has tested positive for COVID-19 and will definitely be out this week. The possibility of this spreading among his position group to Jamaal Williams could become a reality as these units tend to spend a lot of time near each other in practice and on the sideline, increasing the viral load. Williams' test status will be crucial here, and since Tyler Ervin shares this "room", they'll have to monitor him as well. If one or both of these players tests positives, pressure could mount for Jones to return early, but an elevation of Dexter Williams from the practice squad could be the safest course of action.
