Trevon Diggs, the Cowboys rookie corner, has been reported to have a hairline fracture in his foot and will be out four to six weeks. Apparently, it is not the dreaded fifth metatarsal Jones fracture, and surgery is not required. However, given his position and need for instantaneous reaction, even this more minor hairline fracture could knock him out for the rest of the season. The Cowboys are on a bye this week and the expectation is, Chidobe Awuzie will finally be ready to go Week 11 from his hamstring suffered very early in the season. This will at least help the Cowboys’ secondary while Diggs it out, and believe it or not, the NFC East race isn’t over.
