Washington Football Team wide receiver Curtis Samuel missed practice for the second straight day Thursday as he continues to recover from a groin injury he suffered during the preseason. Samuel was on IR and missed the first three games of the year, but returned Week 4 and had four catches for 19 yards. We weren't confident he would be effective in his Week 4 return against the Falcons and we knocked his SIC health score accordingly. Samuel is in danger of missing this week's game against New Orleans. Even if he does play against the Saints he will be limited by the nagging groin injury. The groin injury has also robbed Samuel of valuable practice time in adjusting to the offense on his new team. The 25-year-old had 851 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns in 15 games last season with the Carolina Panthers.
