After Dak Prescott’s successful surgery in Texas last night he was released form the hospital today. Normally this type of ankle fracture surgery can be done outpatient, but for the urgency of the open wound it makes sense they rushed him to the hospital. It’s now being reported he can recover and return in 4-6 months. We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this injury will likely take 6-9 months for full recovery. It’s possible the first timeline was said to let be known Prescott will be ready by contract time, but that’s unlikely. Do not fear though, as we believe Prescott will be indeed ready for Week 1 of 2021.
