The Cowboys quarterback remains limited in practice, doing only footwork drills and no throwing. There is no question that he will play in week 17, as the Cowboys still hope to make the playoffs with a victory and an Eagles lost. It seems clear his accuracy and ability to drive the ball downfield was off. This is more than just a simple AC joint sprain, it likely has involvement with a rotator cuff contusion. If the Cowboys can advance to the playoffs, there should be an improvement in his shoulder and ability to accurately throw the ball downfield.
