Cowboys star quarterback Dak Prescott was limited in practice again on Thursday and all indications point to him likely playing Sunday night against the Vikings. Prescott injured his right calf on the game-winning touchdown throw to CeeDee Lamb Week 6. After practice, Prescott told reporters that he pushed it during practice and "didn't go half or 75%."
Even when he suffered the injury Week 6, we were optimistic about his chances to play. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones also said this week that he felt "very good" about where Prescott was in his recovery. If there's one thing we know about the Cowboys owner, it's that he doesn't like to be wrong. In Week 6, Jones said that two players who were questionable, Tyron Smith and Trevon Diggs, would both play. That prophecy came true and we expect Jones' prediction on Prescott to come true as well.
