Dalton Risner Hyperextends Left Elbow, Can Return With Brace

Broncos' starting right guard Dalton Risner suffered a hyperextended left elbow early in the first quarter against the Chargers.

The 26-year-old could return later in the contest with an elbow brace to support the ligaments. If not, he would be the third starting offensive linemen out for the contest, joining right guard Graham Glasgow and right tackle Bobby Massie.

Later in the same drive Risner was injured on, backup quarterback Drew Lock was sacked on 4th-and-6 after Chargers' defensive end Jerry Tillery worked past Risner's replacement, Netane Muti.

He joins Teddy Bridgewater, Jerry Jeudy, KJ Hamler, Tim Patrick, Glasgow, and Massie as key offensive players bothered by injuries or COVID-19.
