Dalvin Cook, the Vikings star running back, looks to have recovered a little more quickly than expected. Word is he may indeed play in tonight's game versus the Steelers with a harness. The harness is expected as well as offseason surgery which can wait to be done. The original timeline was for him to return was Week 15 versus the Bears but that seems to be slightly accelerated now. Regardless, we would not be surprised if he shared carries with RB Alexander Mattison who has done well whenever Cook has missed time. Just last week, Mattison rushed for 90 yards on 22 carries scoring a TD in a close loss to the Lions. Do not expect Cook to be a big part of the passing game this week as the hardest part of return will be blocking and pass catching. Its good to see Cook returning quickly but do not expect a full workload on TNF.
