Dalvin Cook, the Vikings star running back, left the 49ers game after suffering an apparent shoulder injury. Cook suffered the injury when he was tackled in the backfield by Aziz Al-Shaair and fumbled on the play.
By video, Cook looked to grab at his left chest/pectoral area as he was on the ground. He was carted off the field and ruled out with a shoulder injury. Despite the shoulder designation, we have worry for a pectoral injury. If his pectoral tendon is torn, he would be done for the season. We hope that's not the case and we did not see enough video evidence to confirm that. Alexander Mattison will handle the running back duties.
