Chiefs running back Damien Williams has been ruled out with a knee issue. Reports listed issue as a knee contusion, but there was no video of the play. He was reported to be limping around at practice this week and now has been officially ruled out. The length of time out will depend on what type of contusion it is. If the contusion is at the bone near the joint surface, that could be up to a four week absence. If rushed back, this could progress to a fracture. Lets hope it’s a matter of stiffness, pain tolerance, and not a long term absence. His status will continually be monitored.
