D'Andre Swift, the Lions young star running back, left the Thanksgiving game in the second quarter with a shoulder injury and is questionable to return. By limited video, we didn't see much on the tackle from Bears linebacker Roquan Smith. Swift looked like he landed on the ball with the Smith on his back, then rolled onto his right shoulder. He walked off the field, then went to the locker room. The hope is for a mild right shoulder AC joint sprain, where he could potentially get an injection and return. It will be Jamaal Williams' show until Swift can return.
Update
Swift has been ruled out of the game, per the FOX broadcast. We await more information about his shoulder injury, but him not returning is obviously not a good sign. The Lions play the Vikings in 10 days and we hope the extra rest time will allow him to return.
