The Lions stud rookie running back will indeed miss the Thanksgiving game as we stated earlier in the week. Although Swift was able to practice in limited fashion the last few days, usually it is essential to sneak a full practice in before returning to the field. The short turnaround did not help his recovery but he will indeed be ok to play Week 13 as he was trending in the right direction. Look for Adrian Peterson and Kerryon Johnson to handle to the carries on Thanksgiving.
