Daniel Jones Nursing Neck Strain, In Danger Of Missing Week 13

The New York Giants starting quarterback apparently injured his neck early in the Week 13 contest versus the Eagles. The Duke alum did finish the game without any obvious ill-effects. We identified an early play where he scrambled and half slid into a hit, likely torquing his neck. If all he has is pain, it's something he can play through. If he has stiffness, Jones will likely sit for a short stint to allow range of motion to return. He will need to recover fully to be able to protect himself, scan the field and play effectively. If the issue is generating a tremendous amount of pain or a nerve issue, that would be a much bigger deal. Given the fact that he finished the game, we would expect the issue to be more stiffness and a short term absence for QB Daniel Jones. Veteran Mike Glennon will take the reigns on offense as he nurses neck ailment.
