Sam Darnold has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against Arizona. The USC product suffered an AC joint sprain on his throwing shoulder, which makes it very difficult to play through. Darnold finished the game against Denver which makes us believe he would be willing to play, but it appears the Jets are being careful with their franchise QB. It’s possible he can return in October for New York.
