Darrell Henderson Jr., the Los Angeles Rams running back, is dealing with a rib cartilage injury, as Head Coach Sean McVay confirmed to reporters. The third-year player suffered the injury on the first play of the fourth quarter against the Colts in Week 2. By video, he was tackled by two Colts defenders, with linebacker Darius Leonard landing on top of him. The 24-year-old running back was helped up by medical staff and walked off on his own power, but he did not return to the game. His injury can be played through with a rib intercostal block injection. The treatment does not limit his mobility, it simply numbs the area. We expect Henderson to miss practice time this week, but we ultimately think he will play against the Buccaneers. If not, the Rams will be down to third-stringer Sony Michel and fourth-string running back Jake Funk.
