Elite LT David Bakhtiari has missed the entire season to date as he recovers from a 2020 ACL tear but was activated three weeks ago but was listed as either doubtful or out. Even though he was activated off injured reserve, now comes the announcement that he underwent arthroscopic knee surgery. The good news is that he is reportedly feeling better and headed for the December stretch run as the Packers shoot for the playoffs. The bad news is the Packers had to activate him or lose him for the season meaning he'll be carried on the 53-man roster and cannot go on IR again otherwise he would be lost for the season. Green Bay is in dire need of left tackle help with Elgton Jenkins having just torn his ACL. They will need a stopgap replacement until Bakhtiari is back. Typically, ACL recovery either goes smoothly or there are rough patches that sometimes continue. Let's hope that there will not be continued problems for LT as the season progresses.
