David Johnson was sidelined last week with a concussion, and he will again be out as he works through protocol. What is a major surprise is he's been placed on injured reserve, which means he will miss a minimum of three games. The path of concussions are hard to predict as to when a player will come back, and this seems to indicate the Texans know their starter won't be back the near future. If the concussion symptoms are still ongoing it's likely that he's going to miss at least three weeks. It comes into question whether he will miss the entire season at this point in time. And, one needs to be concerned about the long lasting effects of concussion on Johnson, and it will fall to Duke Johnson to take over this backfield. He has a similar skillset, and they will not need to adjust their offense too much on the fly.
