Johnson did not practice today for the Cardinals but they have not ruled him out. Word from head coach Kliff Kingsbury indicated the signing of other running backs which has come to fruition with the signing of Alfred Morris and Zach Zenner. This does not necessarily indicate Johnson’s health status for this Sunday. Even with those words, it seems unlikely that the Cardinals will put Johnson out there. Given Chase Edmonds performance I think it gives the Cardinals more of a cushion to have the Cardinals sit Johnson another week. This is my current expectation and we will keep monitoring the situation.
