The Texans current head coach said that David Johnson probably would not practice today after his concussion, being that it is only Wednesday. We never expected him to practice in this first session, and it would be very unusual for a concussed player to practice on Wednesday, it is too early to tell whether he will miss the game. Slightly over half of players miss one game after their concussion, but the better sign of return to play is whether they practice in some fashion on Friday. Let's hold out hope that it's still possible, but follow the news as concussions are tricky to predict. Let's not too many conclusions from today's news. Duke Johnson was a popular waiver-wire pickup in fantasy leagues this week, but his role largely depends on David Johnson's status.
