David Montgomery suffered a concussion this weekend, and will have to progress though concussion protocol this week. He did not return to the game, and it is very difficult to judge a concussion by the mechanism of the injury because of their internal nature. His practice status this week will be very telling, as even Limited practice means that he is making good progress in his return. With Tarik Cohen on injured reserve, they may have to turn to converted wideout Cordarelle Patterson to take over in this backfield.
