The Browns tight end suffered a concussion Monday night, but it was much more than that. By video review, he tried to brace himself with his right hand, but the wrist is forcefully dorsiflexed or extended. This type of force typically results in a scaphoid fracture. A scaphoid fracture heals slower due to blood supply issues and usually is treated for an earlier return. Bad news, he’ll miss an extended period of time and is an IR candidate. Good news, he should return this season.
