De'Aaron Fox Will Miss Time

Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox suffered a right ankle sprain when he rolled his ankle in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game against the Lakers. He returned to action after missing less than a minute of game time, but he was still limping before coming out of the game in overtime.

An X-ray after the game revealed a moderate ankle sprain.

Fox has had previous ankle injuries dating back to his college days at Kentucky.

Our doctors believe Fox has avoided a serious ankle injury. However, it appears he will miss some time.

Fox is averaging 31.3 points, 6.0 assists and 4.3 rebounds so far this season. With Fox out, the Kings will likely turn to Malik Monk, but they will likely struggle on the offensive end.
