DeAndre Hopkins Likely To Play Through Rib Issue

DeAndre Hopkins, the Cardinal's star wide receiver, did not practice on Wednesday due to a rib injury. There are no details as whether there is a rib fracture or rib soreness. Even though the 29-year-old missed practice the first day of the week we anticipate that he will play on Sunday against the Jaguars, even if he misses more practice or is limited. A rib block injection is always an option to numb the pain, but we expect Hopkins to play through the injury effectively. The former Texans wide receiver had four catches for 54 yards and a touchdown in Week 2 and six catches for 83 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1.
