DeAndre Hopkins, the Cardinals star receiver, missed his second straight practice Thursday with an undisclosed illness. Hopkins played every offensive snap in the win over the 49ers, thus this new illness is a slight cause for concern. The team hasn't placed him on the COVID-19 reserve list and the players are tested weekly. If Hopkins had tested positive for COVID-19 he would presumably have been placed on the reserve list already. We believe he will be available for Arizona's matchup with the Browns in Week 6, but would like to see him return to the practice field Friday.
If Hopkins can't play, wide receivers Rondale Moore, Christian Kirk and A.J. Green would see a share of the star receivers almost seven targets per game. Hopkins has 23 catches for 312 yards and 4 touchdowns this year.
