The Saints opened up the 21-day practice window for Drew Brees, allowing him to practice again. However, Brees has not been added to the 53-man active roster yet. We’ve said all along that medically he could be playing at this point in time, but it is a coaches’ decision. When he is finally activated to the roster he will be at or near 100% from his ribs/lung issue. It remains possible for the veteran to play this Sunday against Kansas City, all that is preventing this is head coach Sean Payton.
