Deebo Samuel Injury: Will Star Wideout Play Through Quad Injury?

San Francisco star wideout Deebo Samuel is questionable to play Sunday against the Dolphins with a quad injury.

Given the injury and his playstyle, Samuel is unlikely to suit up or play effectively, according to the Pro Football Docs. He carries a SIC score of 61 for the contest.

Samuel was limited in practice on Wednesday, then did not practice on Thursday before logging another limited practice Friday.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan hinted that the team might rest the wide receiver to get him healthy for the stretch run.

Samuel has scored the 19th most fantasy points this season and finished as the WR6 in Week 11.

Although he may miss the big clash against the Dolphins, he should be healthy for Week 14 if he sits or is used sparingly.

The rest of the team is also ailing. Christian McCaffrey has no injury status for the game, but is likely dealing with patellar tendinitis which will likely limit his usage.

Expect rookie back Jordan Mason to see increased snaps.

Left tackle Trent Williams is questionable but will likely play through his back spasms. Right guard Spencer Burford is questionable with an ankle injury and will also likely play through.

Dolphins vs. 49ers Week 13 Odds

The 49ers are favored by 3.5 points at home against the Dolphins and the over/under is 46.5, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
