49ers star weapon Deebo Samuel returned to practice in limited capacity Friday and is questionable for this weekend's tout with the Bengals as he nurses a groin ailment. The 25-year-old All-Pro candidate missed last week's 31-23 loss in Seattle, and would be a boon for a San Francisco team that is without leading rusher Elijah Mitchell (concussion, knee irritation). If he can't go, George Kittle and Brandon Aiyuk would absorb his targets, and Jeff Wilson Jr. would likely be asked to step up as a weapon out of the backfield. Linebacker Fred Warner, who injured his hamstring in Week 12, will return, as fellow backer Dre Greenlaw will miss another contest with his own groin issue. San Francisco stands at 6-6 and hold the 7th and final playoff spot in the NFC.
