Deebo Samuel, the 49er wide receiver/running back, has been ruled out after injuring his groin in the win over the Vikings. He said earlier this week he thinks the groin injury is mild and didn't think it was a big deal. But a groin injury is a big deal for anyone has to accelerate and cut, which Samuel does especially after a catch. Indeed, he has been ruled out for this week and he will likely miss practice time next week.
Middle linebacker Fred Warner and weakside linebacker Dre Greenlaw will also miss the game against Seattle. Warner is dealing with a hamstring strain, while Greenlaw appeared to reaggravate the groin strain that kept him out since Week 1.
