For the Los Angeles Rams to repeat as Super Bowl champions they must protect their QB from injury. It would be only the eight time in NFL history a team repeated as Super Bowl winners.
The Rams enter 2022 with both their tackles very healthy.
Joe Noteboom will be the full-time starting left tackle for the Rams in 2022. He began his career as left guard but when LT Andrew Whitworth got hurt in the halfway point of 2020 Noteboom got valuable time at the coveted position.
With Whitworth retired it is now Noteboom’s responsibility to keep QB Matthew Stanford upright. Even though Noteboom has spent time on IR in the last three consecutive seasons we believe his past injuries will not hold him back.
The pectoral strain leaves us without concern, as does the calf strain that sidelined him for six games two years ago.
Since entering the league Havenstein has been one of the most durable players in the NFL.
The right tackle has played 99 out of 113 possible games. The Rams are returning four of last year’s offensive line starters that helped the team win a Super Bowl on their home field. Head coach Sean McVay called Havenstien the leader of his position group.
