DeMarcus Lawrence Injury: Cowboys' End Returns After Jamming Big Toe

Cowboys' star pass-rusher DeMarcus Lawrence briefly left Monday's contest against the Giants after suffering a left foot injury in the third quarter.

Based on video, the Pro Football Docs believe Lawrence jammed his big toe on the play, but the injury is minor and he shouldn't have any issues going forward.

There is no reason to believe that this injury is related to the left foot fracture and surgery that kept Lawrence out for 10 games in 2021.

The 30-year-old Dallas lifer recorded his third sack of the game a few plays before the injury and returned about 45 minutes later with 8:30 left in the fourth quarter after a short trip to the locker room.

The Cowboys play the Commanders, 1-2, in Week 4 in Dallas.
