The stars are aligning for Derrius Guice to return and play for the Washington Redskins again this season. His 21-day practice window was opened up last week and now Washington has released another running back to make room for his activation. The Redskins have a bye week 10 and the expectation is that he will be back for the week 11 matchup. The hope is this absence was a blessing in disguise, as his ACL recovery was still not quite behind him and he could be seen favoring the left knee. The right knee lateral meniscus tear recovery/rehab has allowed Guice more time to recover and will allow him to have a better chance to be the #1 RB he was drafted to be two years ago.
