The Chargers safety is still on injured reserve. There has been optimism he will return soon, as he’s been seen running and working out. Fans saw him work out last night, during pregame in Mexico City. His return can't come soon enough for Chargers fans, but I do not expect it to be immediate. The 21-day practice window has not been opened up by the team yet. Every player designated to return is allowed to practice for up to 21 days before being activated, but James’ return is still multiple weeks away. The question is whether the Chargers will play him this season, as there playoff hopes took a hit.
